In 2024, Ahold Delhaize launched a new strategy called Growing Together, updating its purpose, vision, and branding. The company also used this opportunity to refresh its visual identity across its (digital) channels.

Ahold Delhaize's new purpose is to inspire everyone to eat and live better for a healthier future for people and the planet. It’s an ambitious goal for a company operating in 9 countries, across 3 continents, with 16 brands, 7,700+ stores, 400,000 employees, and over 63 million weekly customers.

Despite its size, Ahold Delhaize focuses on staying "small"—connected to local communities, tailoring stores to local needs, and fostering close relationships with employees.

The idea that “being big starts small” guided the refresh of the company’s visual and verbal branding.
